The hot springs were a hit with our kids and nephew, especially the footbath cafe. Our spacious room had a breathtaking view of the bridge and the river. The location is perfect for visiting Edo Wonderland and Nikko Shinkyo Bridge.
My kids wished for more food options for picky eaters.

There were quite a few mosquitoes in the room, which affected our sleep quality during the night.

missingWrote a review on Oct 23stunning viewdelicious dinnerhelpful staffdated roomlimited transport
The room view of the river and mountains was stunning. I enjoyed traditional Japanese breakfast and the kaiseki dinner, offering many delicious options. The onsen experience was a real highlight. relaxing in the warm water at night was fantastic. The staff, especially Freska, were friendly and helpful, explaining the meals in detail. However, the room felt a bit dated and had a lingering musty smell that was distracting. Walking from the train station was tricky with luggage, and the public transport was limited. A shuttle service would have been helpful. The breakfast and dinner times were crowded, making it less relaxing than expected.
